Jocelyn Gavin-Lane is a Licensed Certified Social Worker at the Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System in Biloxi, MS. She has been in the social service field over 15 years. She currently serves as the Healthcare for Homeless Veterans Outreach Coordinator. She also provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services through her company Premier Professional Counseling Services, LLC.
She is Founder & CEO of The Pink Lotus Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The major focus of Pink Lotus is women and girls empowerment.
Mrs. Lane is actively involved in her community. She serves on the board of directors for Mental Health Association of South Mississippi and Leadership Gulf Coast Board of Trustees. She is a member of National Association of Social Workers, Upsilon Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Mississippi Gulf Coast Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., National Council of Negro Women, and Karun Court #89.
She attended Jackson State University and received a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work. She also attended the University of Southern Mississippi and received a Masters of Public Health in Healthcare Administration.
She is a 2008 graduate of VA’s Leadership Development Institute and a 2012 graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast. She is a native of Bay Springs, MS.
